Last week, the Majesticare Family gathered for two unforgettable days of inspiration, learning, and celebration at our annual Christmas Conference and Star Awards. The Majesticare Christmas Conference

The Christmas Conference brought teams together from across our care homes for a day filled with laughter, learning, and connection. This annual event is an opportunity for the Majesticare Family to come together, share experiences, and gain insights from industry-leading experts. It's a time to grow as individuals and as a team, strengthening the foundation of care we deliver every day.

The day started with a warm welcome from Angela Boxall, CEO, and Steve Oakes, Director of Majesticare. A lively team-building laughter challenge set the tone for a day of engaging discussions and workshops.

Sessions included the "Living Your Best Life Everyday" workshop, delivered by Natalie and Hilary from NAPA, which focused on creating meaningful activities and cultural experiences for our residents.

Neil Flack from the Care Workers' Charity shared how their grants and resources support the care workforce and how Majesticare can further contribute to their mission.

Neil Eastwood from Care Friends provided actionable advice on creating a welcoming and long-lasting environment for new team members.

Michael Watts from SingFit demonstrated the therapeutic power of music to bring joy and connection.

One of the day's highlights was the Vivaldi Panel Discussion, moderated by Mike Slator, which featured esteemed speakers including Professor Martin Green and Sanjay Dhrona. This session explored the potential of the Vivaldi Social Care Project to shape a safer and healthier future for social care.

The day was filled with inspiration, equipping our team with new tools and ideas to continue delivering exceptional care.

The Majesticare Star Awards

After a day of learning and reflection, it was time to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Majesticare Family at our annual Star Awards.

This year’s Greatest Showman-inspired theme transformed the venue into a magical Majesticare Circus. With a bright orange lights, a circus tent, lion tamers, clowns, and acrobats, the night was a feast for the senses. Guests were greeted by a cherographed firework display to the iconic Greatest Showman music as well as a Skeleton Ringmaster who stamped their tickets as they entered the beautifully decorated tent. Drinks and canapés flowed as attendees explored a world of circus delights, including face glitter painting, caricature artists, and tarot card readings.

A jaw-dropping opening performance by acrobats, jugglers, and stilt walkers kicked off the evening, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by desserts that included chocolate fountains, freshly popped popcorn, and spun candyfloss.
